Site Description : Built in 1935 in style of house featured in Ideal Home exhibition in 1934 called Sunway House'. The Dillingham Family who were owners of one of Luton's largest Hat Factories, commissioned architect Evelyn Simmons to design it and called it Blue Rails. 1930s Moderne' style with flat roof, curved metal windows, nautical' railings. Two storey with rooftop solarium and sundeck. Unusual stair tower with two storey window.
