Site Description : Former Victorian Villa with extensive gardens sloping to the mill stream if the River Lea, built around the late 1800s and owned by Asher Hucklesby, a "Hat Baron" in Luton. Originally of 3 bays now divided into four with hipped natural Slate roofs with projecting eaves roofs. Two storey, ground floor has canted bay windows with cornice supported on brackets and decorative stone mouldings. windows to first floor have decorative stone lintels with key stones and bracketed stone cills, windows arranged in sets of two on front elevation with one on each wall of bay. Decorative yellow brick bands. Large decorative chimney stacks to flank walls. Decorative baluster walls and decorative iron railings.
