Site Description : Built prior to 1920, originally hat factory and associated out buildings. Main building of Luton Grey brick with red brick dressings. One storey with attic. Natural slate pitched roof with decorative ridge tiles and finial to gable end. Gabled end has three arched windows with red brick arched surrounds and stone cills to ground floor and small circular windows to 1st floor in red brick surround. Decorative red brick string course runs below roof line. Associated building of Luton Grey with red brick detailing, fronts onto main road, one storey with natural slate pitched roof and decorative ridge tiles. Entrance door and window have red brick surrounds and are mounted by decorative stone lintels. Decorative red brick string course runs under roofline.
