Site Description : World War II, type 24, Pillbox with modified entrance. In front of entrance is L-shaped protection wall which now only survives to 18 inches high. Type 24 Pillboxes are hexagonal with internal anti-ricochet wall. Rear wall lengthened to take two rifle loopholes in addition to five light machine gun.
