St Thomas’s Church

Site Description : Victorian small parish church Circa 1862, in very much simplified Gothic-style designed by H. J Pearson, a Luton architect and built at a cost of £1150. Luton grey brick with red brick dressings. Welsh slate roof with crested ridge tiles. Four bay nave with stone gable, sloping dentil eaves. Paired windows with stone surrounds. Flint and yellow brick buttress dividing the bays. To south side, second bay from West has picturesque timber openwork porch with brick plinth. West end, two tall windows with triangular cusped windows above. Stone bell turret
