Site Description : Burial ground set up around 1854 by Society of Friends (Quakers) after order from Home Office declared all existing burial grounds in Luton must be closed due to over crowding. Front elevation of Chapel Luton grey with red brick and stone dressing. Two storey with natural state roof, central gable with archway running through building and leading to cemetery. Rear is stonewashed. Gabled extension added later. Stain glass windows in the style of early Gothic tracery with stone surround in shape and disposition of openings.
