Site Description : 1930s school in neo classical style. Red brick with stone dressings, tile roof. 2 Storeys. Main façade of 25 window bays. Casement windows with glazing bars, gauged brick heads and keystones. Hipped roof behind plain stone parapet. Classical treatment of central three bays which are surmounted by triangular pediment with coat of arms, entablature and frieze supported by 4 Doric pilasters. Double doors under bracketed segmented pediment. To either end of the building are recessed wings with tall first floor windows and very small ground floor ones linking with flat roofed pavilions these have stone dividing band between floors.
